The Press Secretary of the White House will be Jen Psaki. She was also the deputy White House Press Secretary and the White House communications director during the term of the Obama and Biden administration in the country.
For the incoming administration, the role of the White House communications director will be fulfilled by the communications director and the deputy campaign manager of the campaign run for Biden and Harris, Kate Bedingfield. She’s also one of the members to have served in the Obama and Biden administration.
Speaking about her appointment, Bedingfield tweeted that she knew about the clear-vision, capability, and compassion of Joe Biden while being a part of the administration in which he was the VP. She also said that her female colleagues will provide an excellent work system altogether and she will be happy to work with them in a team.
The senior advisor of the Biden-Harris campaign, Symone Sanders will also be the spokesperson and senior advisor for Kamala Harris. In 2016, Sanders worked as Bernie Sanders’ Press Secretary for his presidential campaign.
One of the other senior advisors of the Biden-Harris campaign, Elizabeth Alexander has been appointed as the communications director for Jill Biden who will be the First Lady of the country. Earlier, she worked as the Press Secretary of Biden when he was the Vice President of the US.
The communications director of Kamala Harris will be Ashley Etienne who was the former communications director for Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House. While congratulating Etienne for her appointment, Pelosi said that she is an experienced communicator.
