We might not be able to decide a winner between Xbox or PlayStation, but every gamer loves stories, right? Most of the video game stories are either based on books or movies, but their impact level is undoubtedly higher. We all want to connect with those virtual characters and grow a relationship with them. Thus, storytelling in these video games is one of the most crucial aspects.
We’ve made a list of some of those video games which has the best storyline to offer. Now, surely your list might not match with us, but let’s see if your favorite one is here or not? Let’s have a look:
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
We all love the heroic tale and actions of Nathan Drake. Indeed, Uncharted has one of the best and action-full gameplay, but its storyline is a bit underrated. As a result, it was quite tough to pick just one specific part of this whole series, but Uncharted 2 is a bit special. If you’ve not played this game yet and you’re wondering about what it has to offer? In short, the answer is a story with lots of twists and turns, the love triangle, and Indiana Jones vibes.
The Last of Us
For the second rank, there was confusion between Red Dead Redemption and The Last of Us. So, how was I able to pick one? The answer is straightforward and chilling; I played both games again. The top specialty of this fantastic game is its realism. Our protagonist is named Joel, and he’s not one of those classic video game heroes. A special bond between Joel and Ellie gives this story a touch of a father-daughter relationship. In conclusion, The Last of Us is indeed one of the best action video game I’ve ever played.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The first position deservedly goes to The Witcher, Geralt of Rivia. I’m sure you might have heard about it whether from a book or maybe Netflix’s latest series named ‘Witcher.’ The characters of Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer are entirely relatable. When it comes to storytelling, then this game is a masterpiece, and scriptwriting is way ahead of any other game. Moreover, if you’ve played this game, then surely nothing can beat ‘The Battle of Kaer Morhen,’ right?
Let us know if I’ve missed your game on this list and why do you think it should be here? We’d love to hear your fan theories on this one.
