Feeling unmotivated, you’re not alone. What to do? During this challenging time of coronavirus outbreak in the world, it is expected if you feel a little unmotivated this is brought on by staying at home for a long time and things like quarantine, isolation, and trauma, it describes Melissa L. Whitson, Ph.D., a colleague lecturer of psychology at the college of New Haven.
“our system is when activated” by such conditions and other mental effects put on the mind for so long, it is a normal thing for your body and your thinking to become an overthinker, a little tired and even numb,” Whitson, a well-known psychologist, adds. “it is often referred to this as chronic stress. When we feel tired and numb, it is a simple thing for the mind to feel a little unmotivated for things that we often things we feel good doing.”
And with the completion of the first anniversary of the coronavirus outbreak and lockdowns in the United States approaching and with a never-ending global pandemic in front of us, there is a considerable struggle these days and now more than ever.
So what can you do? We’ve rounded up few things you can try to spark some motivation, whether for your work or play:
1. Put down the phone
“Its the first way you can start doing things, this way you won’t be receiving by any emails, your group messages, and even phone calls, and you can get a good dose of not connecting with the society,” “Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban advises in his forthcoming book “Your Time To Thrive” by Marina Khidekel and the editors of Thrive Global (out March 23).
2. Unplug at designated times throughout the day
Digital health expert Mark Ostach advises staying away from cell phones at your mealtime, one hour before going to bed, and at least one hour during your day.
Time.
3. Set a timer
Timely done work is a way a to break up your tasks into a manageable schedule. The Pomodoro technique, for example, advises us that we should work for 25 minutes and take a 5-minute break which makes our mind a little released. After repeating this four times, you rest a little longer for 15-30 minutes.
This way you can make up with your daily life things and be a motivated person.
