The IT worker on contract Melissa Carone was also one of the witnesses. At the TCF center in Michigan, Carone was responsible for the task of fixing the vote-counting machines that were not functioning well. Her argument was taken against the state representative of Republicans Steve Johnson.
As per Carone, the voting machines were jammed. The poll workers tried their best to put their votes through. They tried to count the votes or ballot around 10 times.
Johnson asked Carone to testify under oath, but she had a strong argument saying that her signed affidavit prevents her from doing so.
The legal team of Donald Trump submitted this affidavit while filing a lawsuit in Michigan. In this lawsuit, they claimed that the election results in Wayne County should not be certified. Thus, during the hearing, the judge said that the claims made by Carone are not credible.
While defending her claim before the committee, Carone said that she is the mother of two children with two degrees. She knew the consequences of writing a false affidavit. Thus, she would have never written it falsely for the sake of her family.
At one specific point in the hearing, Carone was seen speaking over Johnson where she seemed to claim that the workers at the poll were taken to a warehouse in Chicago where the fraud was witnessed by her. It was then when Giuliani leaned forward to tell her “Sush.”
