BEIJING (AP) — China’s ruling Communist Party said Monday it would ease birth limits to allow all couples to have three kids in place of two in hopes of slowing the fast-growing older of its population, which is including to traces on the economic system and society.

Leaders also agreed that China wishes to raise its retirement age to hold more people withinside the group of workers and enhance pension and health services, Xinhua said.
Restrictions that constrained most couples to one child were eased in 2015 to allow two. However, the total number of births fell further, suggesting rule modifications on their own have had little effect on the trend.
