US rapper ASAP Rocky has confirmed that he is in a relationship with singer Rihanna.
In an interview with GQ, the rapper described her as the love of his life.
Rumours over whether the stars were dating began as early as 2013 when Rocky supported Rihanna in her Diamonds World Tour.
He said that Rihanna amounts to probably like a million other ones. Adding that, he thinks that when someone knows, they know. Further confirming, he said that she is the one for him.
The rapper, 32, shared a peek into his life with the Love on The Brain singer. It was with US singer Rihanna, 33, calling her My Lady, in an interview published by the GQ on Wednesday.
The pair both featured in ASAP Rocky’s video for Fashion Killa in 2013.
The long time friends again sparked romance after posing together on the red carpet in 2019 at the Fashion Awards. After the award show in London, they were also rumoured to spend their new year together.
Since becoming an official item, they have kept it low and are trying to avoid being photographed by the paparazzi.
Since the rapper denied to disclose precisely how long he and Rihanna are together as a power couple. But he got candid about the possibility of becoming a father.
The rapper said his companion has ‘absolutely’ inspired his new album, which will feature Morrissey.
ASAP Rocky’s case history
ASAP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, in 2019 was found guilty of assault during the Stockholm fight. Hence, as a punishment, he was given a two year suspended sentence.
The case attracted international attention when that time, US President Donald Trump intervened. Mr Donald Trump came in claiming that the rapper was treated unfairly.
Some believe that Donald Trump played a vital role in freeing him from the sentence. However, the rapper dismissed that interpretation and called it a rather misperception.
He agreed that the former president rooted for him and wanted him to be back to his home. But he didn’t free him, the rapper said to GQ.
