According to the CDC, it is now necessary to wear a mask for every domestic travelers throughout the country. This is a public order issued by the National public agency, CDC. The government took this decision to stop the spreading of COVID-19.
In the eleven-page order issued by the CDC has stated that all the travellers transiting within the borders will need to wear face masks. Moreover, the face masks are necessary at every transportation hub. The category of transportation hubs includes every airport, bus depot, seaports and subway stations.
It will also be the duty of transport operators to ensure that every passenger is wearing face masks while boarding and throughout the journey.
At the time of former president, Donald Trump, his administration passed the same order. But the orders were blocked by the White House Task Force.
Dr Martin Setron, who is the director of CDC’s division of global migration, has pointed out that wearing a mask while travelling will keep the State’s citizens safe and help control the pandemic.
Additionally, he stated that if they could control the pandemic, then America’s economy could be reopened sooner.
Furthermore, the order includes a footnote stating that the CDC can penalize people who will disobey the same.
Many other health officials showed affirmation and stated that wearing masks will surely prevent the virus’s spread.
Many health experts are praising the CDC’s order and describing it the need of the hour. Also that wearing masks will help the country to get rid of COVID-19 very soon.
