Jennifer Lopez left the audience in awe on 22nd November (Sunday), courtesy of a sizzling hot performance at the American Music Awards 2020 with Maluna. With the “Dinero” singer flaunting her flawless curves while donning a wearing a rhinestone-encrusted metallic two-piece by Balmain, they teamed up to deliver the world premiere performances of “Lonely” and “Pa Ti”.
The upcoming movie, “Marry me” starring Maluna and Jennifer Lopez will feature the duet on the film’s soundtrack.
While interacting with Radio.com post his performance, Maluna said that he would tell his children about this exciting experience he had while performing with Lopez.
Post the award-ceremony, ABC issued a statement – “The Maluna-Lopez collaboration underlines the indisputable success of Latin and Spanish Languages this year”.
In October, “Pa Ti” officially debuted on Billboard’s list of Hot Latin Songs at number 9. It was the highest chart debut since 2016 for Jennifer Lopez.
Along with Lopez and Maluma, AMA saw many singers performing. Billie Eilish, along with her brother delivered a fascinating performance of her song – “Therefore I Am”. The show opened with Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, BTS, Megan Thee Stallion turned up the heat with the debut performance of her “Body” song.
Mendes took the stage later at the show and gave a breathtaking performance of his new song “Wonder” that left his fans stunned.
Folklore won the Artist of the Year, the most significant recognition of the night but due to her inability to attend the show, she accepted the award virtually.
Finally, BTS ended the show by giving a magical performance of their greatest hit “Dynamite” that saw them won two AMA’s
